Select 1 class per day. The system will allow you to select more than 1 class per day, but please DO NOT select more than 1 per day because most classes happen at the same time, with the exception of Robotics on Thursday Evenings. You can select up to 3 classes: 1 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday, and Robotics on Thursday evening.

The "monthly," "weekly," or "up front" designation for the classes refers to the billing schedule you want, not when the classes take place. All classes occur weekly.

Weekly Class Schedule
Below you will see listed our weekly schedule for Wednesdays and Thursdays. In the LineLeader registration portal, you should select only one class per day, unless you add Robotics, which does not conflict with other classes.
Wednesdays
3-4 PM
School Pick-Up
Middle School and Elementary Schools
The 2 Sunny Lane United Methodist Church vans will go to all of the schools in Del City and pick-up kids as needed. Transportation must be arranged with the school and DCCAI president Adam Young.
3-4 PM
Snacks & Study Hall
Fellowship Hall - Downstairs
From the time the High School lets out to when our Elementary students arrive, Creatives hang out in the fellowship hall at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church for snacks and study hall. At 4 PM we do Opening Notes and recognize birthdays, say our DCCAI "Get To's," play a game or dance to a song, and go over any announcements.
4:15 - 5:30 PM
Studio Lessons
Various Classrooms
At 4:15 we break into studios for group lessons. For Middle and High School band and orchestra Creatives, the studios are organized by instrument. Elementary-age Creatives all stay together and learn piano, rhythm, and do some singing or wind instruments. Creative Space kids (arts, crafts, design, and woodworking) constitute their own studio, and all go together.
5:30 - 6:00 PM
Performance Lab
Upper Room
At 5:30, all the Creatives gather in the Upper Room to do Performance Lab. Performance Lab is an opportunity to showcase a solo or ensemble piece the Creative has been working on and receive positive, constructive feedback. It is also a time when we may hear performances by adult Creatives from around the OKC metro.
Thursdays
3-4 PM
School Pick-Up
Middle School and Elementary Schools
The 2 Sunny Lane United Methodist Church vans will go to all of the schools in Del City and pick-up kids as needed. Transportation must be arranged with school principal and DCCAI president Adam Young.
3-4 PM
Snacks & Study Hall
Fellowship Hall - Downstairs
From the time the High School lets out to when our Elementary students arrive, Creatives hang out in the fellowship hall at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church for snacks and study hall.
3:30 - 7:30 PM
Private 1-on-1 Lessons
Various Classrooms
On Thursdays, we offer private lessons to Creatives approved by our director, Taylor Roland. Private lessons must be arranged between the Creative, the teacher, and Mr. Roland. Private lessons are 30 minutes long.
4:00 - 6:00 PM
Elementary Strings
Upper Room
New this fall! 3rd - 5th graders can get a head start on Middle School orchestra by learning to play the violin on Thursdays. This violin class will teach brand new beginners how to play. It is led by our DCCAI president, Mr. Adam Young. Creatives will receive a starter box violin to learn proper technique in the fall. Then, they will receive their real instruments in the spring!
4:00 - 6:00 PM
Creative Space
Coca-Cola Room
On Thursdays, our Creative Space is open to all. For example, if your Creative is participating in a studio class on Wednesdays that conflicts with Wednesday Creative Space time, they can join Creative Space on Thursdays! This is new this fall!
6:00 - 7:30 PM
Robotics Team
Coca-Cola Room
Our Robotics Team will compete with the STEM OK organization this year. Learn more at www.stemok.org. Robotics Team meets on Thursday evenings and does not conflict with any other classes, so anyone registered for music or Creative Space can join. This is the only class that will allow you to select 2 choices in one day in the LineLeader registration portal.
